Dr. Hyunsuk Oh  is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Laurel, Maryland community.


Ohabc.jpgDr. Hyunsuk Oh graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He was also selected as one of 2 students out of 3800 to join LUSSI (Life University Sport Science Institution) as a clinical staff member, a position that also included an academic scholarship. This job enabled him to treat only varsity athlete like Rugby players, Basketball players, runners etc. He also volunteered for treating the woman’s basketball team at KSU (Kennesaw State University) for 2 years. Dr. Oh was also active in several technique clubs, including a supervisory position in which he instructed for the Korean technique club.


Dr. Oh currently holds licenses to practice chiropractic in Maryland and Virginia. He is a member of the Maryland Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association and International Chiropractic Association.


Dr. Oh has undergone extensive training and has earned the designate of Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) from the Council on Extremity Adjusting. He has also obtained  certification as a Golf Rehabilitation Specialist through Blanchard Institution. Dr. oh has achieved Advanced Certification in the Graston Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization (GISTM) technique (or Graston Technique), a highly advanced and efficient technique developed for treating soft tissue pathology.  He also has achieved Advanced Certification in the SASTM (Sound Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization).   Dr. Oh is also a full body licensed provider of Active Release Techniques (ART).  This technique is highly effective for treating a whole host of soft tissue and nerve entrapment issues.   ART is a favorite technique of triathlon participants, volleyball players, marathon runners, and athletes of all sports. Dr. Oh is also a Certified Kinesio® Taping Practitioner (CKTP®). The Kinesio® Taping Method is one of the most sophisticated taping techniques in the world.  It allows for facilitation, inhibition, and functional corrections of the musculoskeletal system.


Dr. Oh attended seminars to become a Low Speed Rear Impact Crash Reconstruction Specialist from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Also he will be certified in advanced Cox technique in September. He is also studying and taking seminars for nutrition and rehabilitation.


Dr. Oh was on the medical team for the Baltimore Marathon, Frederick Marathon, Baltimore 10 Miler, and NVL Pro Beach Volleyball Preakness.
Prior to his Doctorate education at Life University, Dr. Oh attended the Hankuk University of foreign studies in Korea at Seoul, where he obtained a Master’s degree in marketing. He served a 4 year tenure at Doonsan company, one of the biggest companies in Korea as a Brand Manager. He also served in the Korean military for 3years.
In his free time, Dr. Oh enjoys soccer, golfing, tennis, skiing, and spending time with his wife and children. He is joining to several soccer leagues in Columbia and Baltimore as a player.
